Many parents feel helpless at times when faced with the challenges of raising children. Parents may find themselves in a situation where their child's behavior is worrisome, but they lack the knowledge and skills to resolve the situation. This feeling is especially acute when fathers discover that their relationship with their son is not as strong as they would like or they do not know how to guide and support their child effectively.
We are in cooperation with the management company to solve such concerns Combat Ready created by Fathers & Sons bootcamp 24hr challenge. It is designed to guide boys through a meaningful journey of becoming a man.
This unique experience takes place in scenic Humala and provides fathers with the tools and knowledge they need to guide their sons, helping them become capable and confident young men. My service in the Estonian Defense Forces began in June 2007 in the Kuperjanov Single Infantry Battalion. I started my service in the intelligence company, and during my military service I had an extraordinary opportunity to serve in the Peace Operations Center and also in the Scout Battalion. In 2008, as the first conscripts, we received pre-mission training under experienced Scouts and commanders with mission experience.
Later, I decided to go on active duty as part of the Scouts Battalion and participated in two combat missions in Afghanistan. On missions, I was a machine gunner, an armored sniper as a heavy machine gun operator and acting section commander during combat patrols.
Missions have taught the most about cooperation and consideration for each other. We do not survive alone on the battlefield, and I have taken this with me into my everyday life. We need other people every step of the way. Together we are stronger!
After five years in the Defense Forces, I went to study real estate management at TalTech. I worked as a realtor and learned all about sales, relationships and different types of people. Through constant self-development in sales, I came to coaching studies. In the beginning, I learned coaching sales, that is, how this methodology helps me make sales transactions even more successfully. Seeing great success, I learned more about solution-oriented coaching and coaching management at EBS.
I joined the Combat Ready team in March 2023. I took the initiative myself in advance and approached with a wing maneuver, which eventually led to a successful cooperation. Our journey has brought us back together with Remo over the years.
In my journey I have broken two families. Encountered with underworld characters. Survived a brain tumor and sudden death. My failures have brought me to the brink of doubting my own existence in life. In 2017, I was humbled by life. Remo put it this way: "Humbled by life!"
Since I am interested in psychology, I realized that I cannot continue like this. I have used the manager's decision-making model to move forward, but there was no leadership culture and therefore I could not notice the feedback in everyday life. I reorganized and started all over again.
My knowledge and skills have finally become structured in such a way that it can be taught to all open minded people. I can give examples from my everyday life and how you can solve these situations and prevent them later. I think my ability to respect people, listen, influence and thereby lead is what makes me a very good Combat Ready instructor.
It's no surprise to anyone that life is a constant learning process. This knowledge is common knowledge and seems like a simple concept, but in reality it only benefits you if you become aware of this experience.
Already from childhood, patriotism and interest in the Defense Forces took root in me. Not a day went by where I wasn't involved in some military thing. This interest never faded in me, and today I can say that it formed my foundation today. I started realizing my interest in Noorkotkaste, continued in the Defense League, and after military service I started working in the Defense Forces as an active soldier, where I stayed for about ten years. All my service time has left me with invaluable experiences through failures, successes, lessons and personal development.
What have I learned from my journey?
First, that every experience, good or bad, offers valuable lessons. Second, that a person's (and mine) abilities develop and grow with challenges. And third, that true leadership requires self-transcendence and dedication to serving others.
Being a father means being a leader, a mentor, a supporter and a role model. Your influence during these critical years can shape your child into a responsible, disciplined and confident person.
